Fred,

The low beep for key 3 is ham-band, high-beep is general coverage.  With the
function key with #3, the low beep is both receivers, the high beep is for one
receiver.

The 6 key by itself turns on the balance function, where you can rotate the
multi-cghannel knob to put a balance in for hearing both receivers.

I've been playing around with my new HT, and so far so good, however I'm
having some difficulty determining the various settings for buttons number 3
and 6, related to the separate receiver/duel receiver thing, If any of you
