My turn to weigh in... For yeast to become out of balance in a system -
it is, after all, a natural inhabitant of the gut - the system must be
impaired and out of balance. No suppression of the yeast will be a
permanent fix, and will cause its resourceful migration to joints,
skin, mucous membranes, etc. Homeopathy would address the
out-of-balance system, letting the yeast return to its proper
proportions and place.

Think of it thusly: if you have a pile of garbage, and it draws flies,
Western medicine, including herbs, etc, will attempt to kill the flies.
But you will still have garbage underneath, remaining vulnerable to
further infestation. A good diet will keep the system from being
insulted further, but cannot always restore proper function to an
impaired immune response. When the diet has done all it can, it's time
for a real repair.
