Congress is Back in Action!

A quick numbers update, thanks to all of you -- and a bit of help from
our e-advocacy site -- the celiac community has generated almost 10,000
to Congress in just 8 months!! Unbelievable!

People are asking what to do next? Well, visit the local
Representative's office. David in TX has made visits to his
Congressional delegation; Max in NH (age 10) met with his Senator, who
also happens to be the Chairman of the Senate HELP Committee!
Actually, Max has met with both Senators and his Congressman. Way to
go Max!

Think ahead - Next District Work Period is Feb 16- 20. Don't wait
make an appointment TODAY! Hand deliver copies of "Celiac Facts"
www.celiaccenter.org/taskforcefactsheet.pdf or Drop off the Parents
magazine article, "Enemy in the Pantry"
www.parents.com/articles/health/5557.jsp

The Bottomline -- Lawmakers must see 'The Face of Celiac Disease'.
They need to hear your stories of failed diagnoses, and food labeling
dilemmas.
