 Essa,
Oko is our elder brother. He is the elder brother of Sal Drammeh and the
younger brother of late Pindo Drammeh, who has contributed alot to most of
the halfdie youths. He is the son of the late Ya Aret Mboge of Hagan st.,
who was one of the most popular " Yaye Kompins " in halfdie. Oko himself
was
in the music business since his childhood, and was a very popular Disc
Jockey in the Gambia. He later became the promoter of Ifangbondi and
 organised alot of " Hawaarehs"
together with late Pa Lamin Drammeh. He also promoted the Gelewarr and the
Maagadaan bands. Up to date, he is living in Delft, Holland and is still in
the same business of promoting bands, organising festivals throughout the
whole world. He is the grandson of Gedel kumba ndagaan, Nyaworr Kumba
Ndaagaan ( mother of Njaga Mboge , Demba Mboge and Beram Mboge jungjung (
jaire ) of Njaafaat in Saine). Oko`s grandfather ( Matarr Mboge ) is the
grandson of Nyowarr Kumba Ndaagaan. I also know some of the Drammehs
related
to Sheriff Drammeh and Mbye Drammeh in Niumi, but I don`t know whether they
are related to Oko. Oko is an open hearted person. Be rest assured that he
 can tell more about himself.

 Elhadj.
