Mat,

I saw that show, or rather turned it off with a sickening shake of the
head. It was totally wrong as they bring in the Lylith or how you spell, as
being some wife of Adam's prior to Eve. And then they speculated some woman
goddess was sent by God to populate the Earth, what idiots or more
appropriately wickedness. I don't see that in Genesis at all. This is why
we've mentioned to be guardful of the info you take in and check it with
the Bible. The show prior to that one on the book of Revelation wasn't too
bad, but even then they had to get the scholars in there to yap their trap
to speculations that have no biblical substance. One cannot replace the
Bible for God's instruction to us, and their are tools to use to help, but
he gave us the Holy Spirit to make discernments and any other tool is to be
used with caution. My wife just recently got and is studying the Purpose
Driven Life, and even Rick Warren is a bit off if you ask me. Although the
gist of the study is of good intent and OK, there are some issues which he
paraphrases way past what scripture says and I'm debating on whether I'll
participate in it myself or not. Bottom line is not all you hear is true,
even from sources claiming to be Christian as no one is perfect, especially
TV shows which have other agendas besides educating Christians. The show
you referred was clearly to undermine the basic Christian Belize from the
foundation from the bit I saw and I wasn't about to listen to anymore myself.
