Hi All,

I think we all, at one time or another in our lives, have deeply regretted
an action taken. For me, one of these was the day I sold my Ameritron
ALS-600 for a succession of tube amplifiers. I now have an AEA LA-30 which
is a medium power, 600 watt amp using a single 3-500Z on 160 through 10
meters. I am beginning to save up and collect funds for another solid state
amp since this is what I want to get back to using and will sell this one
when I am ready to buy.

I need your help. Would any of you on the list who are using solid state
amplifiers please give me some feedback as to your opinions of their
operation, reliability, strengths and weaknesses? I want to be operational
on 160 through 10, possibly 6 meters as well but that last is not a high
priority. It needs to have its own power supply if possible.

I thank you for your help and assistance and look forward to hearing from
you. Very 73.
Kevin, K7RX
