Thanks so much to the 35 who answered my call on diets.  17 listmates
suggested Weight Watchers.  50% was a good percentage so off I went to my
first ww
meeting.  The first week was tough as we had dinner out 5 out of seven nights.
This was very very unusual for us.  Well low and behold to my amazement I lost
2 pounds.  Hooray!

The second week I was careful as we had dinner at home and  I was able to
monitor my meals.  At the next weigh in I stepped jauntily on the scale and
guess
what! I had gained back the lost two pounds.  So what happened?  I'm almost
afraid to go to the next meeting but I wll.  The rest of the suggestions were
as follows:

5 for Dr. Atkins Diet
2 for South Beach Diet
Carbohydrate Addicts Diet
Schwartzbein  Diet
Warrior Diet
Paleo Diet

Other suggestios:
Have thyroid checked
Aerobic video tapes
Exercise
Drink more water
Avoid bread potatoes cookies muffins salad dressings egg yolks salt dairy
sugar all grains and carbs
Eat more complex carbs(vegetables)  and use salt free spices nonfat yogurt
egg whites for baking herbs lemon juice salmon omega oils flax seed oil  and
fish oils
Be tested for other allergies
Jenny Craig not good as you must eat their food and we cannot

I know this summary was long but perhaps it just might help others
