Hello!

David makes a great point when he says that problems pop up at the most
inconvenient moments doing some of the most simple tasks.

The trouble starts with a lack of clarity in language and escalates when the
way to do something changes radically from OS to OS.

I am currently running three OS...XP, XP Pro and 98 at three different work
sites. I love to read manuals and books and love to know how to do things
with computers. Having been through five or six different Operating systems
though, I'm getting older and need more synchronicity. A computer is
supposed to be a tool for productivity and a lack of uniformity between
operating systems developed by the same company is really time consuming and
frustrating.
