Thanks for the suggestions, but I think there is some confusion as to what I
want to do. I don't want to send my monitor display to the TV or VCR. What I
want is to record on the VCR what would normally appear on my Media Player
or video editing software.

I take a VCR tape and record it onto my computer (video capture software).
Then I edit the video. Now I want to record my edited version back to the
VCR. My question is "how do I do this?" Anybody do video editing as I
described using the computer?
