I'm sorry to hear about your friend, Kyle. Sounds like someone I'd have liked to know.

yet, as I expected we would, but it will probably come down sometime this
morning.

I just got word that an old friend was killed Monday in Iraq. Dom
Baragona,
Lt. Col. out of Fort Sill was crushed by a tractor trailer that
jack-knifed
and tagged his Humvee. Dom went to West Point right from high school and
had been in the Army since. I figured he was in Iraq, but it's been a
year
or so since we spoke. He always told me that if he bought the farm he
wanted it to be in action. I'm sure he would have been p*ssed at the
irony
in his death. He was a good guy and loved his country.

Kyle

Hi Kyle,

And WOW can we tell its back up here in DC. Scene by the Pentagon -
Armed
Humvee's - outlined in the sky, patroling, and the blue lights are
flashing
again on the state police cars - signs saying they are pulling people over
at random. I counted 20 vechicles, and that just on the side I drive by.
If
the news doesn't scare you - seeing this gives you chills. Please take
good
care of yourself, Laura and the kids.
