That flu-like ache sounds like fibromyalgia! Get thee to a rhuemtologist.
Have them give you the "tender point test"  which is different from the
trigger point test. The 18 point tender point test can tell the doc if you
have fibromyalgia. You have fibro if you have pain at 11 or more of the
tender point places.

Massage can help, damp heat, ultra sound can help a lot, of course you
already know I recommend Feldenkrais, it sure helps keep me going, don't
worry so much about it being double blind studied, it just works for many,
many people.  Magnesium works wonders for me, it's replaced my rx for
skelaxin.

Must be very hard for you, Kyle, to have once been so active, but there's
hope. Don't give up.
