David, I would like to lodge my respectful disagreement. Fish oil is the
by-product of an industrial process as is the production of many food
supplements. Paleo purity is an unattainable ideal for almost everyone on
this list. I believe I can safely assume that most of the subscribers to
your list have a primary interest in personal health (anthropolgic issues as
well). Most of the meat that most of your subscribers consume is feedlot
meat that is the byproduct of industrial technology. That is, the ANIMALS
are fed supplements. While I appreciate your impulse for paleo purity,
prohibition of discussion of supplements is, I think, an unnecessary and
frustrating narrowing of the list. Is it your veiw that the list is
supposed to be sort a 12 steps, I will only eat and talk about that which I
can pop with a stick??? If so, there should be no discussion of almost any
of the chemical, hormone laden beef, pork and poultry that we buy in
shrinkwrap packages for all the effort of hauling our asses to the
supermarket.
