As far as dairy is concerned, I found that removing it completely
relieved much of the "bloat" as well as clearing up allergies.
I think that as we hit that "wonderful time" of menopause, we women
become even more sensitive to the products of "neolithic" civilization,
not to mention the fact that our bodies may have been having to deal
with "hostile aliens" for so long that it finally takes its toll, and
there ensues a kind of breakdown, exhaustion situation.
This is just something that works for me; I still regard Ray Audette's
book a baseline of sorts for my personal nutrition, and it hasn't failed
me yet.
