Hi Mag --

I would highly recommend poodles.   They are so bright (like us), and
they
don't shed!!

I still miss my standard poodle named Mikki Mouse, and it's been nearly
15
years since he died.

I had toy poodles when I was a kid -- they can be "yappy" if they aren't
trained well from an early age.   Mine were never yappy, but I've seen
others who were.
