I have also experienced atypical symptoms. However, I also found out that I
had reactions to other foods. The BALANCE of my reaction was about correct
and I now have the typical reaction to gluten if I come in contact with it.
I was not biopsied because of the extent of the damage, also I have a
severe reaction to 'knock out' drugs (especially Valium). An investigation
into my stomache condition showed a large amount of irritablility in the
stomache and red sores between the stomache and duodenum. I tried just not
eating wheat and challenged each of the gluten containing grians. I now
regret doing that as if I hadn't I would be completely healed now instead of
partially healed.
