Because so many with celiac disease have low stomach acid, I have
recently shared information about betaine hydrochloride with this list &
many of my e-mail buddies. With her permission, I wanted to share a very
positive response I've gotten from a friend & fellow IBS sufferer who
tried betaine hydrochloride supplementation for low stomach acid:

"Hey, Valerie, The hydrochloric acid is great stuff. I'm sleeping all
night for the first time in years, not even awakening to go to the
bathroom! I think I've stumbled on to something great. It's controlling
the diarrhea too. Many thanks for the tip, my friend. ~Constance

Betaine HCl is something that should be used with care & caution. Get a
copy of the book, "Why Stomach Acid is Good for You" by Jonathan Wright
MD. It contains an entire protocol for eliminating acid indigestion &
many other digestive woes. ~Valerie in Tacoma, WA
