For myself, eating fruit, especially without protein, causes increased hunger
and cravings.  I don't eat fruit much at all any more, except rarely late in
the evening.  Maybe try some fish for breakfast?  It's really tasty,
satisfying, and keeps your blood sugar level for hours ...
