Hi,

My husband needed a GF antibiotic and the doctor prescribed keflex. As some of us have experienced, our insurance requires that the pharmacy fill the prescription with a generic substitute if at all possible. Our pharmacy had cephalexin 500 mg capsules by Ranbaxy Pharmaceuticals.

I called Ranbaxy Pharmaceuticals at 1-888-RANBAXY to verify the GF status. I received a return phone call from them that is IS GF.

Hope this helps,

Barbara in Illinois
