My daughter (age 10) has been diagnosed as severely lactose intolerant.  Her
symtoms, including headache, lethargy and vomitting usually occur between 36
and 48 hours after ingesting dairy.  Although these symtoms seem unusual she
"flunked" the breath-gas test for LI, and excluding dairy from her diet
pretty much eliminate these symptoms.
