I was interested in the post re: the ERFYBT Encyclopedia. I bought it
Sunday and have read quite a bit of it. I've also read quite a bit of
the original book.

My question is this: if, like me, most celiacs have multiple food
intolerances or allergies, how in the world can this diet be usable? The
author talks quite a bit about lectins and how many problems they can
solve. The one major study on lectins was based on feeding subjects
kidney beans which made many people very ill. But the author of ERFYBT
says that I, because I have B+ blood and who cannot tolerate most carbs,
perhaps because of lectins, ought to eat kidney beans! And he says I'm
not supposed to eat chicken, which is one of the few foods I can eat
with no problems.

I just can't see how this diet is usable for celiacs. Any insights?

Laurel
