The louder you turn the radio volume the louder it is though it doesn't seem
to sink with it, in other words, I notice that too with mine if I need the
volume up real loud especially with the built in speaker the voice seems to
get louder faster then the radio does.  I know nothing besides that, there
might be a menu setting for that though, I don't use mine a hole lot.
