On boot up I get a message that the cmos battery has failed, press F1 to continue. I have done that and the PC appears to work OK exept that my second hard drive ( drive D) and the CD ( drive E) have disappeared. Are the dissapearing drives because of the cmos failure or have I been lucky enough to get 2 separate problems at the same time.

PC is an AMD 166 running Windows ME

Any ideas gretfully accepted.
