Try going to control panel/add-remove.  Highlight IE 6 and click remove. It will give you the option of uninstalling or repairing it.  Click on repair.  If you saved the IE 6 download you could try reinstalling it.  If you didn't the downloader/installer won't let you download it again unless you uninstall it and rollback to IE 5.5.
