I just built a computer that "seems" to refuse to allow
a CD drive to be a bootable device on the second IDE
port, either as Master or Slave.
As a drive, it works there otherwise.
(Boots fine as a Pri. Slave)

The OS is WinXP-Pro. Could this be the "problem"?,
or a bug in my BIOS? (Soyo K7VTAPRO-2aa6 dated 12/13/01)
(Board is most likely an older build/rev. from July 2001)

Should I be able to have my CD (bootable) on the SEC.?
(I've done it this way on my other machines.)

Thanks in advance for any insight to what appears to be
"new" rules about placement of devices.
