Sometimes they don't change your e-mail address. Earthlink bought out
Mindspring and people still use their Mindspring addresses. People still
use SpryNet addresses, pipeline addresses and netcom addresses. Of
course, Earthlink is in bed with Sprint, not AT&T. Seems like a waste of
money and support resources to change everyone's e-mail address because
you know they'll be flooded with calls from people who don't know how to
change their settings. Besides, isn't there already an AT&[log in to unmask] in
existence? Perhaps AT&T is simply buying Excite. @Home, IIRC, is like
the main company and they lease their network to companies like Excite who
then resells it as internet access to customers. But no matter who you
buy your @Home service from, you still have an @Home address.

I think that's how it works with @home, but if I'm wrong, don't flame me
too harshly.
