Not all candy canes are created equally. I got some from Asher Candy Co. in
New Hyde Park, NY which list ingredients as: sugar, corn syrup, natural
flavor, red 40 and red 46 lake. I ate one and I was OK. I have seen some
candy canes which list "confectionary glaze" as an ingredients. I believe
this may be flour based, as I read something to this effect on the list a
while back. I once had a bad reaction from eat Also, some candy is produced
on a belt which may be floured to prevent sticking. If it is a large
company, such as Brach's, you can always call to ask about their production.
I have found many companies to be understanding of our need to be sure.

Enjoy your candy canes and have a great Holiday.

Love and peace,

Libby
