I checked this recently and found that using Jaws with an encyclopedia
requires certain scripts. The only script that I could find provides access
to only Grolier. The only thing I could offer and it may not work is to try
Britannica on line. JFW 4.0 does a pretty good job on the internet, and it
may be able to access that better than the standard CD version. If not,
IBMs Home Page Reader may do this just as well or better. This isn't used
in conjunction with JFW, you would have to put it to sleep while HPR is
activated. You could try it, I haven't done this yet but it may work quite
well. I have just had my students learn to live with Grolier.
