hi paul,
it definately sounds like a fan problem.
open up the case and gentlytouch the heatsink/fan when it makes the noise if
the noise stops then you have found the problem.
just reseat the fan or buy a new one they are only a few pounds or dollars
depending where you are,and are very easy to fit yourself.
if you are not confident enough to do this take it to your local pc shop it
should`nt cost much at all.              <[log in to unmask]>
