Kweku Ananse and the Sweet Vibrations, traditional and contemporary West
African music and dance,
announces two upcoming shows:

Friday, January 19, show starts at 8 pm, Kweku Ananse at about 9:30 pm,
@ the Annex/Regent St. Retreat, 1206 Regent St., Madison,
a benefit for Jeffrey Maxwell of Natty Nation, $10.

Sunday, January 21, 2- 7 pm, Kweku Ananse at 2:15 pm,
@ The Marriot, Middleton, Exit Greenway  off the beltline
in Concert with OD TAPO IMI and other special guests, $10.

Friday, January 19, at the Annex, is a benefit for Jeffrey Maxwell of Natty
nation, who has been diagnosed with cancer and is struggling with medical
bills. Besides Kweku Ananse, the show will feature music by Tony Brown and
Reason for leaving, with interludes by Pacesetter Sound System. There may
also be a jam session with Natty Nation. The show will be hosted by Frank
Perez of WORT. Come to support a friend in need. See you there!
