Thanks for the info everyone! The overwhelming response was to go to Dr.
Fine's web site and order the stool test.

Other ideas were:
   to try the diet for 1 month (I know he never will do
      this unless the tests say he should)
   to get the blood tests done.
   try the Univ. of Maryland test
