Last night I went into my device mgr. and I think I set both CDRom drives to enable DMA. The CDRom dr. and the HP 9110i cd writer are both on the same IDE controller. When I booted up this morning,
Dev. mgr. is not showing any CDRom drives. It shows a yellow ! on secondary ide conroller (this dev. is either missing or not installed properly or not all the drivers are installed). If I go to the resources box it shows "no conflicts". I cannot update the drivers off the W98 disk because there is no CDrom drive working. I have tried going into safemode and removing the CDRom drives but when I boot back into Windows 98 no CDRom drives are found. Bios shows both IDE controllers.
Help, Any ideas?
