Since nothing is showing up in the boot scan, it sounds like your newer
controller is using it's own bios, and may not allow your older adapter to see
anything.  Try removing the AVA2906 card, and leaving your drives in the new
order.  If not, go into the scsi card setup/bios program and make sure it
re-scans the bus.
