Ok, we had those 80-100mph gusts last night (call them "gales" over here),
no
trains, no roads (floods and fallen trees), no electricity (I'm typing this
using the dim glow from the LCD of my laptop (2:22 left on the battery).
Electric out since 7am - prognosis 2-3 days - the cables hanging in the
front
garden - NOTE: make sure the dog does its business in the back garden!!!
Just went to light the oven for Lin - we've got an awful lot of frozen food
to eat!!
Got to fly to Manchester tommorow - hope I can get to the airport.
