WOW!!! Thank you to ALL of you who replied and so quickly. The advice and
info was split down the middle with some saying try elimination diet and cut
out dairy and others saying it just takes time and that her improved
internally is great.

The problem is If I take out what little dairy she does eat it will reduce
her already small selection of food. She doesn't drink milk but does LOVE ice
cream and cheese like her grilled cheese sandwiches and she probably eats ice
cream ever night, I think this is what has helped her to not lose weight.

I just cant start with all the testing again she has been through so much in
the last year and its bad enough she cant eat what everyone else is eating.

I know her diet is clean because she only eats a handful of things and we
never eat out. My husband hates that the kids want to snack all the time and
thinks that they should sit down and eat larger meals so this is another
obstacle I am trying to hurdle.

here is an example of one days food for Taylor yesterday:
grits
half cheese sandwich on tapioca bread, 2 egg whites, 4 baby carrots, gf
cheetos,juice box.
grapes
apple
3 soft corn tortillas filled with rice and beans
ice cream
cereal(dry)

This seems like so much food and she really is eating all day so I know she
is getting enough. I think I will cut back on the dairy and just give it more
time, someone suggested 6 months gf if no weight gain then get her tested.

Dr. Fine also said some other food allergies could be the problem but he also
said that her doing so well internally was a great beginning. Thank you to
everyone who wrote with such nice encouraging words you always make me feel
better.
Holly

Ps. Does anyone know of a good dairy free ice cream I have tried the soy and
she hates them.
