This is ghastly news. This just goes to show how cavalier the authorities are
about food. So long as it sells in large quantities and makes big profits for
the food processors, who cares? This must be a result of intensive
agriculture weakening the strain. And what can we expect with  genetically
engineered food - no nutritional value at all, perhaps, but it looks good.
All the more reason to go organic, or better yet, wild foods.

I think I'll move to France, where they worship their small family farmers,
and food is a religion.
