Go back to the files area/boot disks on the NoSpin site, download the proper file for your Operating System, (very important to get
the proper one), and "run" the file with a blank floppy in your "A" drive.
The file will format (and check) your floppy, and put the necessary files on it to allow a "clean boot" of "the OS" with CD-ROM
support.
TEST IT before you do anything else. You may have an "oddball" CD-ROM drive that does not work with the "universal" CD-ROM driver.
Also, you may have to change a setting in your BIOS to allow booting from "A" first...
About your install, there are "other issues" depending on the CD disk version you have (full or upgrade version), and if you are
doing a clean install (on a formatted hard drive) or an upgrade install over what you have...
If you do a Format or Fdisk you will loose ALL the information on the drive and/or partition(s) that you are working on. Be careful
and if you are able, back up stuff before you start. Sometimes there are problems and/or mistakes...
If you have more than one hard drive be sure you "work on" the proper one...
NoSpin has pages about the rest of this. Feel free to come back to the list with more questions.
