Thanks!

Written in the 30's. I may have been a child in the 40's???

So that's the source for Calvin's imaginary tiger, Hobbes? (See what I
didn't miss and what I did?) I didn't follow Milne or many other favorite
childhood stories. Maybe it's not too late to catch up.

Is being exuberant and uninhibited now treated as disorder? <GRIN>

It's okay... If you don't have toddlers you wouldn't necessarily get the
reference. Tigger is Winnie-the-Pooh's friend. He is a frenetic stuffed
tiger with a spring in his tail. His favourite thing to do is to Bounce and
Pounce on everyone else. He is exhuberant and uninhibited in his joy.

The Pooh characters were created by A. A. Milne in a series of children's
books (? written in the 30's). The stories were written for his son. The
real bear called Winnie (short for Winnipeg, the soldier's home town)
belonged to a Canadian soldier who left him in London, England (at the zoo)
when he went over to Europe to fight in WW1.

Disney has made several movies and videos over the years. The Tigger Movie
was released last year.

These days I miss everything and don't know I miss anything.

Who/What's Tigger?
