Couple suggestions...a portable unit that can sit on the edge of your tub
can be had for about $30.  Another is to get your MD to give you a dx of
arthritis--no matter how mild.  You can the use the facilities of your local
Arthritis Foundation free of charge (or real cheap, anyway).  Besides having
a "warm water pool" (ahhhh!), they usually have a whirlpool or portable
units you can check out like a library book.
