I am posting this question on behalf of one of my fellow support group
members who is not online. She has a son who is 2 years old. He was
diagnosed with cd over a year ago and has been gf ever since. His original
blood work tested very high for cd and the intestinal biopsy showed damaged
villi. The doctor just did another biopsy and blood test. The child now
tests normal on the blood test but his villi still show damage. The mother
says he seems healthy and she is sure he is not eating gluten. Any thoughts
on what could be going on? The doctor isn't sure either.
