mariana,
   the big island covers more teritory than oahu,  where did you go on the
big island? did you go to kona? the vocano national park? the rainforest?
how did the sections compare in accessability? only a guess, but, i would
imagine it to be easier to make much of the kona side accessible than the
east side where the volcano is.
   i have told my family that if they want to do something and i can't do
that particular thing, ie: climb diamondhead, that i'll go shopping or beach
bumming while they go ahead. i do not know how much of that they will be.
