Hi all! Yesterday, at my state's CS support group meeting there was a MD
who said that celiacs tend to have low zinc levels. Today, my mom got
back some of her bloodwork results from a few weeks ago and her zinc
level was slightly elevated (B12 and CBC were normal). I really can't
find out anything in my nursing textbooks about zinc. Do any of you have
any experience with this...side effects from an elevated level? She does
take a multi-vitamin a day with zinc as a component. Thanks in advance!
