        Agreed, however if you want to run X (almost anybody who would use it as a
workstation would) 8MB might be a little small. X runs much better with
16MB, although some of the lighter window managers aren't that bad. Of
course technically one does have to go with X, there are some great console
based programs out there if one doesn't find console only to be a bad thing.
