I know skin tests can be done before a year old - this is generally only
for foods though. They generally wait until 2 - 3 years of age for any
environmental allergies to develop. We go in about 2 weeks for testing
on my curently 10 month old bc I've noticed some intermittant wheezing on
his part and have seem to have correlated it to my diet. I'm suspicious
of dairy and maybe eggs causing it. His older sister was first skin
tested at about 13 months, but we had pinned things down and eliminated
them by then anyway.
