Hi all,

Tom found this:
>THE EEG SCORING WAS CARRIED OUT BLIND. DIFFUSE ABNORMALITIES
>WERE FOUND IN THE VEGANS' EEGS OF A DEGREE THAT IS BETWEEN THAT
>OF THE VEGETARIANS AND THE PERNICIOUS ANEMIA PATIENTS, BUT UNLIKE THE
>ABNORMALITIES IN THE LATTER, THE ABNORMALITIES IN THE VEGANS'
>EEGS WERE NOT AFFECTED BY HIGH DOSAGE VITAMIN B12 SUPPLEMENTS.

Side note: Pernicious anemia is caused by Vitamin B12 deficiency.

I find the above finding crass. It's reading like this to me:
"The EEG of vegans is highly abnormal and there's no cure by just ta-
king a B12-pill".
Phew! One step further one would think about the conclusion if a hu-
man's EEG is abnormal, then there should be signs of mental disorder or
abnormal behavior with this human.

Now if we put one and one together and skim through the numerous posts
of Tom regarding zealous vegans or vegans with serious mental imbalance
then it seems there is some confirmation for these observations now.

Very interesting information, thank you, Tom. Since cooked vegans seem
to be more balanced than raw ones and the above study (with very small
numbers of persons though!) most probably took cooked vegans, does that
mean that raw vegans have even worse EEGs? So that the EEG abnormalities
in cooked vegans are just a sign of an arising problem which has not
manifested yet?

Instinctive regards,

Stefan
