Me:
I was referring to the "primitive" Eskimos, such as the Greenlanders...
Most today, eat mostly cooked... Even so, there isn't much evidence by
way of research or anecdotal experience, to validate a high protein,
high fat, animal-based diet (whether raw or cooked), as being
"healthful" or conducive to longevity... "Longevity" is one of the key
words here! I know people point out these high animal protein/fat-eating
hunter/gatherer tribes as being healthy and something to look up to, but
when we check out the length-of-life stats, we see that these people
generally don't live a very long life. As a matter of fact, they
generally live quite a bit less than the average for the SAD-eating,
couch-potato American! Something to think about, if you ask me.
