Thanks. Maybe in 10-30 years I won't be on raw lists bickering with
naysayers though. ;)

As for the "failure theories", it's easy to ascertain as to why many
100% raw eaters fail: lack of calories, lack of sufficient nutrients,
and too much breakdown food (with lack of sufficient buildup foods). One
may also fail if one reads the negativity and believes it. Our thoughts
are powerful. Sometimes we get what we expect. Expect failure (even
subconsciously) and get just that. Consciousness is superior to matter.
Although, matter affects matter in many ways. The key is to encompass
all the factors, not just food. Bottom line: it's crazy to believe that
one would be somehow deficient unless one reverts to eating some cooked
food. Want eggs? Eat 'em raw. Potatoes? Raw. Grains, legumes? Don't eat
them raw or cooked. Etc... Raw eaters sometimes fail and are weak,
emaciated individuals because they focus on fruits and salads. Basically
a starvation diet. You can only go so long on a starvation diet. People
restrict themselves unnecessarily due to radical belief systems, instead
of giving their bodies what they really need. I never claimed to live on
cucumbers and oranges. :)
