Please forgive me, I know a made a bold and unkind statement concerning my
fear for the health of fruitarians. Please do share your experiences, and
define your term, fruitarian? Because, how can those who follow one path
expect others to understand or follow if they always remain silent?

I believe that different ones on the list use different meanings. The
botanical definition of fruit is:
A: a product of plant growth useful to man or animals, such as *grain*,
vegetables, cotton, flax
B. (1) the reproductive body of a *seed* plant, especially plants killed by
frost
   (2) sweet fruits from trees, berries
   (3) a succulent plant part (rhubarb)

(the *---* is my emphasis). (To me, rhubarb is a sweetened screwed up
celery, or chard!! :)

A lot of folk think of fruit as apple, pear, orange. But the term also
includes asparagus--avocado--tomato. How do you regard it, Urwana? What are
your "staples" for comfortable fullness, energy, sense of alert well-being?

Appreciate your input...

Pat
