just a few quick comments on your post.

* Tofu, at least the commercial forms, is (normally) a cooked product.

* There are recipes for raw tofu in at least 2 raw recipe books -
the one by Marcia Accardo (spelling? w/ Viktoras Kulvinskas), and the newer
"Raw Truth". The recipe by Accardo calls for soaking raw soybeans
for a few days then grinding them up. I suspect the taste will be
gross - yuck! (Even raw soybeans sprouted for 6-8 days are generally
unpalatable and inedible).

* Instead of sprouting soybeans, choose mung beans, almonds, sunflower
seeds, sesame seeds, etc.

* If you want to eat soy, best to cook it to deactivate the anti-nutritional
factors.

* Some rawists claim that "protein is poison". Such claims are bogus and
have no scientific validity whatsoever.
