I have read a bit about enzymes, and tried juice fasting. (maybe I
avoided a brain tumor?).

Regarding taking supplementary enzymes, ensure good quality - perhaps
have some sort of biometric test - eg muscle test or EVA - for each
one. Enzymes are good for rebuilding vitality and imuunity, and I
believe the proteases in particular help deal with cancerous
materials.

Juices: the _most_ powerful juice is of young cereal shoots: eg wheat,
barley etc. It is amazing what this stuff can do ( read Ann Wigmore
).
If one has good teeth, its possible to chew on it to get the juice -
and one could be munching on it off and on all day. Try some yourself
and see the almost instant effects !

And a suggestion: choose juices from the list of "Highly-beneficial"
foods (HBs) recommended for one's blood type by Dr Peter D'Adamo
("The Eat Right Diet", also published as "Eat Right for Your Type".
The principle for a lot of the selections is in the reactivity of food
lectins to different immune systems. In particular, avoid the
"Avoid"s.
This would apply to when they resume eating solids also.

And more: at least 2 litres of water per day. Read "Your Body's Many
Cries for Water" by Dr F. Batmangeihli. But be careful if the kidneys
are not functioning properly. Needs adequate salt also.

Good luck to your friend.

PS:
Hey Axel, take note !!!! If you want to be fanatical about some
diet,
the D'Adamo way would be a good bet. !!! and while on vegan you are
probably consuming muscle for energy, with the need to eliminate the
extra waste products.
