I should have added that I don't want to make a permanent decision without knowing more about it - like Eudora, which tells you about it and then gives you the opportunity to download it later.   Apparently the OE Rules solution just doesn't download it or deletes it from the server.  I don't want to have to logon to the server to read it - does OE have a way to tell you, when  you are VIEWING the email (not at download time), that there is a large attachment and then ask if you want to download it or not?
